Salary Range [ $23.00 - $27.00 ] 

 

SUMMARY

Under minimum supervision, performs a wide range of analytical and administrative duties in support of the sales team and broker representatives.   Support may include reports generation, product information, samples and literature, records maintenance, targeted cold-calls to potential customers, maintaining pricing, broker representative and customer agreements.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs a wide range of sales and support duties for the sales team members, requiring a high-level understanding of business objectives for the assigned sales divisions. 
  • Assists with training sales, sales management, and sales support personnel on reporting tools.
  • Maintains broker representatives’ contracts, by maintaining rep lists, processing new dealer representative contracts, updating current contracts with any changes, and communicating changes to cross-functional teams, to ensure timely reporting and resolves questions and issues.
  • Creates and updates custom reports and presentations including, but not limited to, sales recaps, sales activity by region/industry, trending and ordering patterns, rolled-up call reports highlighting account activities and opportunities, and production/sales reports using Query Builders and various Microsoft applications.
  • May contact potential customers through targeted cold-calls, generates leads, promotes up-sell opportunities as appropriate and manages new customer account set-up in database.  Assists with qualifying new customers for direct purchase or distributor referral.  May attend trade shows in conjunction with sales team members. 
  • May provide information regarding product tests, engineering drawings and samples to sales team and broker representatives upon request. Conducts simple internet research on potential clients and competition to categorize new accounts between divisions.
  • Assists with the coordination of sales forecasting and planning.
  • Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS      

  • Associates Degree in Business or related field
  • Minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced office or sales environment
  • Must have advanced written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have advanced customer service, organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Must have advanced proficiency with Word, Excel,

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Trade show experience.
  • Ability to read CAD drawings.
  • SAP or other ERP systems and proficiency.
  • SalesForce.com experience.
