Internal Sales Representative

The role of the internal sales Representative is seen as an important link between customers, distributors and the company. Internal Sales are responsible for fostering the relationship with the Peli BioThermal customer base. The ultimate objective for the internal sales team is to build credible and lasting relationships with all customers and to create and develop new opportunities in order to drive revenue growth. 
A key element of this role will entail building trust and confidence to deliver and maintain an excellent level of customer service. You must strive to understand the needs of our customer base and have the ability to meet your customer’s requirements and needs. 
Working towards a number of clear objectives within a target orientated environment, your sole focus will be on developing the account base and generation of new business, whilst maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring customer retention in EMEA and the US. 
You will be required to develop a sound knowledge of your customer base and the products / services they receive. You must be able to manage all aspects of the account base effectively ranging from all sales activity, after sales service and complaint handling by the customer and be able to prioritize various customer requests / tasks simultaneously.

•    To respond quickly and effectively to all calls and emails to the sales department. Providing support and reassurance to your customers promptly and efficiently.
•    Update customer database (CRM – Sales Force) and document customer-related activity.
•    Establish new customers, as well as work with existing client base to develop new business.  
•    Providing customers with quotations and ensuring these are followed up within a reasonable timeframe.
•    Negotiating variations in price & terms of an agreement; 
•    To provide strategies and estimates relating to your customer’s budgets and future requirements.
•    Represent Peli BioThermal at appropriate trade shows, customer visits and exhibitions or conferences as and when required.
•    To actively identify and develop new opportunities working towards meeting/exceeding your targets, objectives & KPI’s as determined by your manager
•    To actively contribute to internal projects and assist with marketing campaigns as and when required.
•    To regularly participate and deliver presentations in monthly sales team meetings.
•    Perform internet, catalogue, or tradeshow research on potential clients, markets, and competitive products within assigned territory.
•    Other duties as assigned by the Internal Sales Manager.
•    Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
•    Performs additional duties as assigned.

•    Minimum 2-3 years sales experience with track record in meeting/exceeding budget.  Ability to effectively close deals and manage sales cycles of varied length depending on the project.
•    Experience of working within temperature controlled packaging/logistics industry would be beneficial but not essential.
•    Must be computer literate and competent in the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
•    Knowledge of SAP.
•    Knowledge of Sales Force CRM system.
•    A high level of self-motivation and drive is essential in addition to resilience and tenacity.

•    Actively supports and complies with Peli’s objectives, guidelines and commitment to Quality and Safety, with an emphasis on continual improvement.
•    Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
•    Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Internal Sales Manager.
•    Must be flexible regarding working hours. 
•    Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
•    Must be able to travel occasionally, within Europe as and when the role dictates.
