Responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned region or division by effectively selling the company’s products and related services, developing strategic business relationships and enhancing product awareness with dealers, distributors and end-users.  Develops and manages sales plans, promotional campaigns, distribution channels and expense budgets in order to attain adequate profit margins, achieve sales growth goals, and enhance the company’s position for customers within assigned region.  



  • Responsible for achieving established sales targets in assigned region or division as well as incrementally increasing revenue, sales channels and customer base year over year.
  • Assists in the development of the BioThermal distributor sales network.  Manages and supports existing distributor relationships and identifies, recruits, approves and enlists additional dealers as required.
  • Sets agendas, creates action plans, facilitates and leads meetings, develops communication and recognition plans with partners, and develops appropriate presentation materials with relevant marketing and product management resources.
  • Drives business development activities within assigned region or division, with efforts to include coordination of product management and marketing activities such as promotional campaigns, advertising, pricing strategies and new product introduction plans.
  • Utilizes Pipeline Management techniques to review sales potential, manage lead flow, forecast sales revenue, manage customer relationships and evaluate issues/opportunities affecting sales. 
  • Provides in-depth analysis of current and anticipated business conditions/requirements affecting company products, customer requirements and product positioning for assigned markets, including, but not limited to, technology requirements, sales, pricing, and marketing/business practices of other competitors; develops appropriate short and long-range sales plans and revenue forecasts.
  • Participates in relevant trade shows, conferences and any other activities necessary to promote BioThermal products in selected markets.
  • Develops and executes sales management processes to measure, track and analyze sales activity and progress.
  • Develops sales training and sales promotional activities to promote, define and implement strategies aimed at penetrating the marketplace and expanding current business.
  • Actively supports Pelican BioThermal’s commitment to Quality and Safety, and all quality and safety objectives, with an emphasis on continual improvement.
  • Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS                                   

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field and 5+ years’ direct selling and sales management experience with technical products in BioPharma, pharmaceutical, biologics, logistics, cold chain and/or medical industries and evidence of superior performance within these markets. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in a variety of sales concepts, practices and procedures and a high level of competency in the execution of a wide range of projects and deployment of best practices in a world class company.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic plans across a geographically dispersed organization.
  • Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and ethical leadership with strong abilities in relationship management with customers, vendors and employees at all levels and in multi-national/multi-cultural environments.
  • Must have excellent analytical, math and organizational skills.
  • Must have excellent written, negotiation, presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be proficient with Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and other appropriate software.
  • Must be flexible with work schedules and be available to work on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice.  
  • Must be able and willing to travel frequently to all necessary offices, engineering locations, bases, and customer sites, both Asia and worldwide.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English is required.
