The Credit Analyst is part of the global team responsible for minimizing Peli BioThermal exposure to credit risk. This individual will work across PBT business units to facilitate cash collection and application efforts against the open accounts receivable. This individual will support the Finance Manager and Credit and Collections Supervisor in analysis of credit risk profiles of PBT customers and assist in maintaining credit limits and managing credit holds on the accounts as well as assuring transaction tax compliance across all PBT business units.


What You’ll Do:

  • Sets up new customers in the system, assists Credit and Collections Supervisor with establishing and monitoring credit limits and payment terms.
  • Performs cash application to ensure accurate and timely posting of cash transactions.
  • Processes customer credit card payments and assists with handling international payment methods (e.g. Letters of Credit).
  • Contacts customers regarding past due invoices and assists with the documentation and reconciliation of outstanding balances.
  • Prepares and submits the intercompany debtors balance reporting for consolidation.
  • Ensures all required documentation (i.e., credit application, credit reports, resale certificate, vendor agreements/contracts, if applicable) is on file.
  • Assists with preparation of monthly AR Aging reports and with calculation of Current Expected Credit Losses (Bad Debt Reserve).
  • Provides supporting documentation for the external audits and transactional (Sales and Value-Added) Tax return preparation.
  • Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.


What You’ll Need:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Credit and Collections, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be proficient with Excel; experience with SAP or large ERP system preferred.
  • Must have experience with handling transactional tax (sales, VAT) issues.
  • Must have excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Accounting or Finance

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to execute physical activities within the lab and production areas (i.e., stand, walk, sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch). Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. This position requires repetitive hand/wrist activities.
