Sustainability Analyst

The role’s key focus is to collect and analyse carbon data from internal and external stakeholders and work with departments to develop a comprehensive reporting and environmental certification process

Our role.

• Develop and support with the implementation of the company’s sustainability programmes.
• Undertake life cycle and embodied carbon assessment for internal processes and products.
• Support development of policies on carbon footprint reduction, CSR and other sustainability issues
• Supports environmental and sustainability initiatives with data gathering, analysis and documentation.
• Contributes to achieving company’s sustainability goals by active participation in developing the roadmap.
• Identify and support implementation of carbon reducing opportunities.
• Develop data gathering and reporting KPIs, tools and progress documentation.
• Uses data and statistical analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, prioritizes projects, and justifies proposed actions.
• Drafts and delivers presentations and reports to communicate sustainability initiatives highlighting their effectiveness and environmental impact.

This is a site-based role located in Leighton Buzzard. Commutable from Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Luton, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.

What you will need to be successful..

• At least one year of experience within the same or similar role.
• Degree educated with ideally an environmental/ sustainability degree.
• Highly competent in excel, Statistical Analysis Software, LCA software and GHG calculations.
• Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO14040a
• Knowledge of sustainable development concept and frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent teamwork and teambuilding skills with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
