Sales Representative – French Market 



Reports to

Sales Manager





Under guidance of Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will be responsible for customer and sales management with the existing customer base and business development and promotion of different product categories such as Lighting Products, Standard Cases and Customized Cases within the territory of Northern France



  • Work with distributors, dealers, end-users, or direct OEM’s engaged in the purchase, sale and/or promotion of Premium Protective Cases, Customized Case Solutions (Technical Packaging) and Advanced Lighting Products.
  • Develop sales and product interest in applications for Peli’s Roto Molded and Injection Molded cases, flashlights and area lighting; specifically selling to Aerospace and Defense Contractors and/or related subcontractors within military organizations, MOI, MOD.
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities and generate leads by establishing a network within target segments, as well as working with existing customer base.
  • Work closely on sales projects with distributors, dealers, and OEM customers.
  • Support and develop distributor sales by:
  • Meet with resellers, end-users, and OEM’s to determine competitive activity in the area, review status of current sales efforts, resolve problems, ensure sales and marketing goals are being achieved, and report this information back to the Sales Manager.
  • Visit dealers, end-users, and OEM’s with distributors at their premises to perform product training.
  • Developing and expanding the distribution channel and OEM’s business.
  • Receive inbound sales calls from customers, conduct on-site visits and prepare proposals and quotations.
  • Represent Peli at trade shows involving, but not limited to, stand set-up/tear-down, recording leads and providing product information. Find and report competitive information of Peli competition, cultivate relationships with potential strategic business partners, and build market/industry knowledge to be able to answer comparative questions by customers.
  • Perform digital sales and marketing duties and research on potential clients by contacting resellers and/or potential end-users and OEM’s.
  • Update customer database (CRM) and document customer-related activity.
  • As required, liaise with internal manufacturing and operations team based in Europe and United States to ensure timely delivery of projects. Proactively communicate project status to customer.
  • Assist Finance and Operations Departments in resolving customer issues proactively and quickly as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.



  • Preferably bachelor’s degree in business engineering, Sales Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 2-3 years sales experience with track record in meeting/exceeding budget.
  • Team-Player working remotely in a multinational, global organization.
  • Well organized, self-disciplined, and reliable work-ethic.
  • Sales experience in selling customized products to OEM customers desired but not mandatory.
  • Sales talent, with ability to effectively close deals and manage sales cycles of varied length depending on the project.
  • Knowledge of French market is a plus.
  • Home Office based, with regular outside sales time of 50%.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in French and English - Public speaking and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate technical sales information clearly and concisely.
  • Valid EU driver’s license.
  • MS-Office skills: Outlook, Word, Power-Point, OneNote, Teams.
  • SAP and Salesforce experience desired but not mandatory.
