Sales Representative

Under direction of the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will be responsible for business development and promotion of different product categories such as Lighting Products, Standard Cases and Customized Cases for the Scandinavian region.


What You’ll Do:


  • Proactively seek new business by establishing new customers 
  • Develop and expand Peli distribution network
  • Develop awareness of protective case solutions and applications across multiple industries and especially among Aerospace and Defense Contractors end users and military organizations
  • Work closely on sales projects with distributors, dealers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) 
  • Visit dealers, end-users and OEM customers to perform product training
  • Meet with resellers to determine commercial activity in the area, review status of current sales efforts, resolve issues, ensure sales and marketing goals are being achieved
  • Assist with preparation of proposals and quotations
  • Represent Peli at trade shows
  • Update customer database (CRM) and document customer-related activity
  • When required, liaise with internal manufacturing and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of customized products
  • When required, assist Finance and Operations in resolving customer issues
  • Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job
  • Performs additional duties as assigned


What You’ll Need:


  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B sales of industrial products
  • Experience in selling customized products to OEM customers desired but not mandatory
  • Solid track record of meeting or exceeding sales budgets
  • Ability to effectively close deals and manage sales cycles of varied length
  • Knowledge of Scandinavian market
  • Readiness to travel through assigned region on regular basis (up to 60% of time)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills - Public speaking and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate technical sales information clearly and concisely
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience in working with SAP (or similar) and Salesforce (or similar) desired but not mandatory
  • Bachelor or University Degree in Engineering or Business desired but not mandatory
